Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Horse Handler

Assist with grooming, tacking, and leading a horse while our clients learn to ride, plus barn clean-up after programming. Must have horse experience and be 18+. Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is an asset. Requires orientation, training, and adherence to CanTRA safety standards.

Event Volunteer

Assist during organization and fundraising events — sitting on a planning committee, promoting events, collecting raffle prizes, event set-up/take-down, decorating, selling tickets, and greeting guests.

Volunteer Photographer

Capture the "magic" during special events, programs, and fundraisers for sharing on social media and our website. Experience with animals and children is preferred, along with the ability to capture high-quality, balanced event photos.

How to get started

Find out when our next volunteer orientation and training sessions will take place. All volunteers complete a Child Abuse Registry Check and Police Criminal Record Check before starting.
